I bought one of these for my Christmas lights this year. It works great and is super easy to setup. Just make sure you have it somewhere that is accessible to your home wifi. This is a great price, imo.
I agree…got a couple of these, but only got to implement one of them this year. The biggest concern is proximity to your WiFi, but personally had no issues. It has two plug-ins that can be separately controlled which is really helpful.
Next Christmas when I have more time and mobility, these will come in real handy for front and backyard displays.
I have been using these and the older model for several years. I currently have 5 deployed with Christmas lights up. Normally I run 3 for all my outdoor lights. They work great. I had one bad one that was dumb out of the box, but replaced very easily. The app is a little cluncky at times, but always works. Setup is simple I recommend setting up inside near the router, then taking them to their final destination. Highly recommend at this price.
