The price might be nice, but the app overload that results from building your home automation from too many different vendors would not be so nice. (Even if you use Alexa or Google home, at a minimum, initial setup typically requires the device’s app.)
We happen to have focused on Amazon, TP-Link, and Wyze (and one Ecobee thermostat). It takes some special features to draw us into another Brand and its additional corresponding app.
