Here are a couple of reviews on a 6 piece set

30X54? Too big!

Whatever happened to the normal towel sizes of 27X50 or 27X48?

lol…My daily drying bath sheet is even bigger… So nice to be fully wrapped around to dry in such luxury.

Just about the most massively useful thing any interstellar Hitchhiker can carry. Extremely useful if meeting a Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal!

“Now there’s a frood who really knows where his towel is.”

Limit 3? How does that make sense with 5 people in my house?

Let me guess - you’re female and don’t care about laundry bills?

Have the same attitude when it comes to a king size bed - PITA when it comes to washing/drying and making up the bed.

We raised it to 4. We don’t have many of these so we want to share them with as many wooters as possible.

I’m female and I pay the “laundry bills” but I still prefer larger towels. Especially if all sizes are nearly the same price-wise. And my king size bed is preferable to sharing a smaller space with my partner and our kids, who still wander in from time to time to snuggle. Though it is a PITA to make up.

Man, you got judgey AND sexist all together in one post. Well done, sir.

Man I really want to re-arrange those in proper order, who stacks their colors in such a willy-nilly fashion…

I am not a huge person, but I’m a solid 6’ and 210#, I hate trying to dry myself with hand towels, so yes, bath sheets are what I prefer.
As for that prior comment, when I wash my wife and I’s towels weekly, I find zero difference in qty of loads required to wash them compared to years ago when we used 20% smaller towels.

The Cal King bed on the other hand…

You have to factor in shrinkage. They will end up being a normal size after a few dryer cycles.

What does it spell? Misogyny! Misogyny! Yeah! shakes pom poms

To actually add to the discussion somewhat, I’ve found that fabric items/textiles out of India tend to be of higher quality than the Chinese ones. These look nice.

I’m sure the dark-colored ones will bleed color for a while, though. Anyone here have that experience with these towels?

+1! hahaha

I would also like to know about the color bleeding if anyone has info.

Also, I firmly believe there is no such thing as a towel being “too big”…

The rule of thumb I’ve seen posted in other threads is to wash the towels the first few times with white vinegar to set the colors.

I have ordered several sets of these towels and love them. Very soft and absorbent. I did not notice any bleeding. I have started to notice some pulled threads but they have been through the washer and dryer several time. The kids have also used their feet to use these as mops on the tiled bathroom floor which might also explain the pulled threads.

I have had the same experience: super soft, very absorbent, a few pulled threads in a year or two of having them. I also notice our set DRIES surprisingly fast, which is a plus.

Sorry, I should have been more helpful in my earlier comment. I guess my delicate lady brain was just so busy fixating on how much “laundry money” I was going to get to waste on these babies…
