We have been, trust me.
My validation key didnt work either. First, the link in the download instructions didnt work, then when i tried to download, miscrosoft said the key was not valid. Disappointed because i really wanted this rather than renting it every year.
reach out to Woot customer service and they can get you a replacement key.
Just an FYI. It’s been a while since this topic was used but this is still relevant.
Key generators are still rather prevalent. As such, holding onto a digitally provided key can easily mean some “less than honest” person can generate your legitimate key while you wait to install. When you get around to installing your legally purchased product, that key has already been used and Microsoft has no way to “unauthorize” a key…even if it was obtain illegally. Sadly, it one of the built-in pitfalls of digital keys.
