Where did they dig this up? The Microsoft Surface Book 2 was officially released on November 16, 2017.
This price is absolutely egregious - especially considering that woot has sold the Microsoft Surface Book 3 for considerably less than this.
If memory serves, this might be priced higher than the 15" Surface Book 3 was last sold for.
If anyone is considering this, just get the Surface Book 3 from eBay, and save yourself at least around half of this $1399 asking price while getting the benefit of a 1 year warranty if it is through the eBay Refurbished program.
If that’s out of your price range, Microsoft Authorized Refurbished Resellers with high reputations on eBay are selling Grade B refurbished ("Very Good - Refurbished) units for around $300 with one-year warranties.

This does not make any sense. I have a surface book 3 that I really liked, but even that is too slow today, so I retired it. I did have a SB 2 but stopped using it because it was too slow years ago.
