This Surface Pro 4 is listed as new, why is the pen third party??

Our vendor is doing the bundle for us.
Ok but the surface is brand new?? I know the Surface 4 is supposed to come with a Microsoft pen. I guess that’s my confusion? Thx
Per the vendor: This was commercial model did not come with a pen.
They bundled a pen with it for us.
What they won’t tell you is that it is their hot dog vendor who is doing the bundling.
