Microsoft Wireless Laser 6000 Desktop Bundle

The wireless functionality of this set isn’t very good, range wise at least.

BTW : the pic looks like someone desaturated it.

Maybe if it was Mac compatible. But we all know that is NEVER going to happen…

Awesome. I have the optical desktop elite for bluetooth and I absolutely love it. It is still going strong after four months of regular use on the original batteries. It doesn’t work when reinstalling but the drivers are easy to install and setup was no hassle. I look forward to having a laser mouse and backup keyboard. Great woot.

whats up with the photo that looks like it came out of the newspaper?

The bottom line:
It’s wireless and stylish, and it offers several useful features, but the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 has a cheap, lightweight feel that hurts this otherwise well-designed keyboard-and-mouse set.

Bought this at costco for $80, this is a steal

This price seems to be half price from anywhere else…
If I needed another mouse or keyboard, I would be wooting this right now and not posting on the forum… LOL

There’s a $10 rebate on Amazon which looks like it could be used on this woot:

No Thanks though

Hmm…Can’t read any of the 50 or so comments.

Sucks too, because I actually wondered if this was a decent keyboard. The less severe ergo curve intrigues me.

I have been using this keyboard/mouse combo for about 6 months now and it’s probably the best wireless combination I’ve ever used. The mouse takes some getting used to at first but after a while you grow to love it.

I’ve only had to replace the batteries on the mouse once in 6 months and I’ve never had to replace the keyboard batteries at all.

This is great deal. I bought it for $79.99 on sale… these usually retail for well over $100 bucks. Grab it while you can!

$10 Rebate available

What’s the range on this?

aww nice…thats exactly what I want…1000DPI laser mouse…I guess it’ll be a bit more accurate everytime I press the refresh button on my browser, hoping for a woot-off at this time of night…

and thats EXACTLY what I need…something else that can steal my precious batteries…

MY PRECIOUS…I won’t let the keyboard take you…not you, my precious!

Very mixed reviews on amazon. Many claim that keystrokes are not recognized and that the space bar locks up… Doesn’t look like such a good keyboard. The mouse is supposed to be fine though.

This post might never be seen!

Keyboard is nice except for wrongly made home/end/pgup/pgdn/delete and no insert key

And this mouse is pretty comfortable.

I found it for cheaper on PC direct. pricewatch in the promo code gives free shipping. http://www.pcdirect.com/product.asp?promo=pricewatch&PID=1&Sku=KBMO-B7T-00001
good try woot…

I actually own one of these. They feel great. The only problem is it drains batteries quick and you can get interference. I have a MS Bluetooth set that is better, but I am picking upo another one that I’ll use with my Media Center PC that I am building.

Also, If anyone missed the last Blinged Out Cabbage, I got The RoboRaptor Robot, 2 Virgin Pulse Cordless Telephones, The Samsonite Camera Carryall Bag and the “Cure Sleeepiness Right Away” headset. I am willing to trade all! Send me a Private Message if your interested in any of these items.
