Similar issue. CS had me ship my 1st cracked cutting board back
(they provided me a UPS return label) My 2nd one was also cracked and CS refunded my $1 (plus tax)

Sadly this one is worse than the first…

Go ahead and reach out to them. Sorry Amazon and/or UPS sucks. Probably best to just do a refund.

Btb, TT, in Brown’s defense, I’m not sure it’s really their fault. There is zero packaging inside the outer shipping box. So the item box gets to bounce around inside there.
I’m just happy to finally have a cutting board. Despite my continued sadness that said cutting board isn’t a pizza shuttle like I thought it was from the pic.
