Anyone else bought this same portable AC? Works great when it works. However, I took it camping and it kept on shutting down at times. I know that obstruction of airflow can cause it to over heat. I have it inside of my tent and it’s about 5 feet or so away from the wall tent. So there’s plenty of air flow inside of the tent. If it’s in “Cool” mode, it would shut down after running for like 30 minutes. In “Dry” mode, it seems to work better. Sometimes even on “Fan” mode, it would shut down. So not sure what the deal is.
You’re venting it outside, right? There’s nothing restricting the exhaust?
I’m not sure of what else it might be unless it’s overheating like you mentioned.

It’s outside camping, but I am using the portable AC inside of my 5M yurt tent. The exhaust and water tube both goes outside of the tent. Nothing is blocking the exhaust tube. I was afraid that the wall tent might be blocking airflow so I had it moved about 5 feet away from the wall. I am camping again this weekend and will see if it does it again. When it works, it blow cold air. Just seems to be having issue when sleeping at night and it would just shut down. If I turn it on again, it would run for a good 30 minutes or so and then shut off again. “Dry” mode does run for at least an hour before shutting down.
