While this is a slick looking unit, there’s a big problem. It only goes down to 35 for humidity. It won’t even turn on until the room humidity reaches 45. This is not very helpful at all. They should tell you this ahead of time. I would never have bought it. But it’s past the 30 days so I’m stuck with a unit that’s not going to work.

Every home is different, but a level between 30 and 40 per cent humidity is typically ideal for keeping your home warm and comfortable in the winter, without leaving condensation on the windows. In the summer, that level can be higher, between 50 and 60 per cent.

The unit is in a lower level. Partially below ground. It gets damp and musty. Setting it below 35 would be better. That’s not possible with this. I’ve never seen a dehumidifier that has a minimum setting. I would not have bought this one had I known
