I wouldn’t want that even if it was free.
One of my bottles was half empty, with the other half of the contents spilt everywhere in the package, lol! But hey, it was free.
No, it’s that we couldn’t actually purchase them for the first 40 minutes
Sorry?
They’ve “fixed” things since then, so now we get this experience. Woot will have to crunch the numbers on which event lead to a greater loss.
Thanks.
You’re welcome my flippered friend.
Where is the post mongering? I’ve got some gif ideas that I need to get in before I forget!
9a.m central
The mothership is notorious for breaking plastic bottles in the boxes and spilling the contents. They also go by quantity ordered as 1 in multipacks. I’ve ordered at least 3 things from woot! That only had half or one third of the order. I ordered something from the mothership and the box was damaged and undeliverable. Most of that is the shippers.
Good news! My blood sugar is back to normal and I can sleep for <5ish hours! G’night! See you at mongering in the morning!
A new space will be created in the morning, but feel free to use the old one in the interim…
Oh, because it doesn’t officially start until 9 a.m. CT.
I was sent a ceramic cat bowl in a poly mailer (no bubble wrap) and it was jangling before I got it open. The seller tried to get me to return the damaged product. I said I’m not sending back glass shards so someone could get hurt. They sent a replacement, SAME PACKAGING! Not even a shred of padding. And again it was broken. I struggle to understand the processes of others in times like that.
It was funny when they sent nail polish that way
And then there’s Woot …
That made more sense than the money…
I have received items twice that were broken from woot. One was in only a bubble mailer. No crush protection. The other had an unglued box and only plastic trays to protect the 9 glass item in the box. The only thing not broken was the glass dice. At least Woot! Refined me for both and didn’t want the items back. Some people don’t care about the items they are shipping or how to properly protect and handle them. They just want to get the items shipped as quickly as possible and people end up with broken, missing or spilled things.
