Purchasing these for donating is not a bad idea but be sure to check the donation wishlists at local organizations first. I almost went in on this deal for this reason until I found out that toothbrushes are not the most significant need at my local domestic violence and homeless shelters. As someone who who works at a similar agency, i know it can be unhelpful and counter to the giver’s intent when we’re given a bunch of “gifts” that we didn’t ask for, need, or consent to receiving.
