Milwaukee M12 3/8” Hammer Drill/Driver Kit

Milwaukee M12 3/8” Hammer Drill/Driver Kit

I’m just wondering is 3/8 referring to the key chuck of the drill or where the actual bit inserts into? Also is that the norm or not? I only bought one cordless 18v wireless drill before and still use it. I always have been wanting a hammer drill to power through concrete for odd jobs around the house.

I would imagine that’s the size of the bits it takes.

I see 1/2 inch is heavy duty and 3/8 is normal. I’m sure my very long concrete bits don’t fit 3/8. I’m use to borrowing my dad’s hammer drill and for my seldom usage is some what seldom. As I’m just doing odd jobs around the house this won’t work for those seldom yet extreme applications I was hoping it would be able to do. Thanks glad I didn’t buy it.
