I picked these up last time and they’re good shoes; comfortable and they fit the same as other brands I’ve used (Asics, Saucony). However I would not recommend if you ever run on gravel - there’s a big void in the center of each heel and I always seem to get a large rock lodged in at least one shoe somewhere on every run.

I echo elofgren’s comment. Great shoes. Do not get them if you run on roads with larger size gravel.

Count me as another who picked up a pair of these last time.

I haven’t experienced any gravel problems from the road, but I have found a few things worth noting:

  1. These shoes tend to run a bit narrow - certainly moreso than Asics. This wasn’t much of a problem for me, but those with wide feet should be warned.
  2. While comfortable right out of the box I found that it took about 50 - 60 miles before they were really broke in. The first 20 miles or so were kind of uncomfortable in terms of mid-sole support. But by 60 miles these are a dream.
  3. I’ve read complaints about the heel cup being uncomfortable, but I haven’t had any problems.
  4. The heel-lock location seems a bit too far back along the shoe than I am used to, but that’s not really a gripe more than an observation.

Other than that, once they got broken in these are absolutely great.

Not at all comfortable shoes. Too narrow, despite being the proper size for me. During the run, much discomfort and numbness at the balls of each foot. If I could return them I would. Stay away.
