Your AA battery is at 1.2A. Assuming this battery supplies 12V, this is more like 10 AA battery connected in series (i.e. end-to-end)

OK, 2 things…

First, anyone know what happens to a Li-Ion battery when it freezes? They short out then catch on fire! -Don’t keep this thing in your car if its below freezing where you live!-

Second, Double A (AA) batteries could be used to recharge your car battery if you have enough of them to make the voltage higher than the car battery voltage. They won’t supply much current and won’t charge you up to full capacity and will probably take a day to fully transfer whatever charge they can provide, but they may give you enough juice to crank the engine just enough to get it to start and start providing its own charge source off the alternator and that’s what a jump start is about. Not charging the battery, just getting the engine going so it can charge itself.
