Reviews over at Best Buy

[MOD EDIT] Slightly different model.

Much different model. The one here on Woot is only 1700mah and uses micro USB instead of lightning for charging.

All battery cases (except for Apple’s own battery case) use micro USB to charge - so your existing lightning cables don’t work with this case. No biggie since micro USB cables are everywhere and if you don’t already own several they are cheaper than lightning.

This case says it uses lightning interface because it connects to the lightening port of the phone inside the case, but the case itself is charged via an included USB cable. Check the BestBuy details under what’s included in the box and you’ll see it references a USB cable.

I’ve had only moderate success with Mophie. Quite a few of the models I’ve owned seem to flicker between charging and “device not compatible” mode which makes an annoying beep on the iPhone.

There must be some information that’s incorrect in this listing.

The only Juice Pack Air I could find for the iPhone 6/6s is 2,750mAh which I linked from the OEM below.

I did find one that matches the mAH rating of the listed model for the iPhone 5/5s though which I believe is more likely the one listed here with OEM link below.

I’ve had one of these for quite a while for my iPhone 6, and I love it… mine is the 3300 but seems to work identically to this model. Early on, I did have ‘incompatible’ message issues - even though it did charge, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these messages - it may have to do with the quality of your cable. Also, another note - you cannot use the micro USB cable to connect to iTunes (at least on Windows machines). Not a big deal for me personally, but it may be for you.

Agreed. Would be great if we could get a clarification/confirmation about whats happening here. If its a JP Air it should be 2,750mAh. I am in for one if so, but not willing to roll the dice otherwise.

There are a lot of conflicting statements about this Mophie case. Will our Woot administrators (or Mophie folks) please set the record straight about whether and how micro USB cables work and how much battery power this case has (I can’t find 1700 mAh with this model name at the Mophie website). If this is a 2750 mAh model, this deal looks a whole lot better!

This battery case looks really good and seems make your phone feel little heavy ,solid in your hand .
The only thing I dislike about these battery cases is once connected, the battery drained much faster .

We have confirmed with the buyer, these are in fact 2,750mAh. We have now updated the sale. Thanks!

I’ve used two different juice pack airs in the past and I was pleased with them. Solid product. I actually like that it charges with micro-USB instead of lightning because it’s a lot easier to find the microUSB in a pinch and they’re extremely cheap to buy if you forget one on a trip.

Will this work on the iPhone 7 ?
