I don’t know what this does (it boils water?), but amazon reviews say it makes water taste odd. Amazon price is 50 Pds (thats British money), so a good price at least.

It boils water. Simple. These things have been around in Japan for a while, and a friend of mine actually brought me one when he was there, and I’ve had it for a good 5 or 6 years. On a full load(1.5 liters), mine takes about 5 minutes to fully boil, but I dunno how fast this thing works in comparison.
