I would say Sumarian is my pick. I would love to know more about what happened there along with knowing their language (written in the very least).
oh yes, a topic to reveal Wooters’ ignorance. not their fault, we haven’t been educated
What? Nothing about Roanoke?
Sea People’s were different groups of people acting as pirates so not a civilization, probably the best known were the the Biblical Philistines, called Peleset by Egyptians and whom archaeology and DNA analysis shows were originally linked to Aegean, before mixing heavily with local Canaanites. There’s speculation the Israeli “Tribe of Dan”, known for their seamanship, were also the group of Sea People called Denyen and possibly Greek Danaoi and/or related to Anatolian Adana/Danuna.
I’d like someone to investigate the lost civilization of decent people who gave a crap about things that actually matter, c.1990ish.
The Mississippians.
Furlings
dear god i don’t know what I love more: the fact that you posted these or the fact that your screenname is what it is <3
Given that there are Mayan descendants as well as Easter Islanders around today to answer questions, are those civilizations really lost?
