I LOVE the Furbies! (I have at least a dozen different ones, still looking for a 2000-whatever model, hint hint):

and I get the tamagochi; I had a rubik’s cube as a kid (my mama was so proud until she found I had swapped the stickers  ); Cabbage Patch Kids were at least cute; Tickle Me Elmo… annoying as hell, but … Elmo…

Those damned fidget spinners, though! Just as bad as the Pet Rock!

Don’t forget the “Pet Rock”.
It was literally a plain rock laying in a pile of shredded paper, inside a box.

Are you guys kidding me right now? Fidget spinners was here for a cup of coffee. I’ve had the Rubik’s cube shoved down my throat my entire life. IT’S NOT EVEN A TOY.

I saw this thrifted catshirt a little while back and decided that at $2.99, it was overpriced by at least $3.

Daily deals and then a large catalog sent out before Christmas that one has to call a number and wait in queue to obtain item.

Hatchimals. My daughter has hundreds of them, ranging from tiny plastic caltrops to huge dead-eyed stuffed ‘Island of Dr Moreau’ hybrid monstrosities. They all come in eggs that you ‘hatch’, and the plastic waste from that alone would give any environmentalist an aneurysm. Plus the larger ones come with such oddities as press on nails and slime. But she loves them, so I continue to buy them for her.

Don’t care if fidget spinners are a fad, they are my saving grace when it comes to not destroying my nails and cuticles. May not work for kids, but this ADHD 46 year old uses one daily.

Don’t know about Alf pogs, but my daughter who is 37 was an Alf nut! (Still goes nuts if Alf is mentioned on TV) Never saw the attraction.
