Remember folks, HD DVD will be coming out this summer. There are also upconverting DVD players out there that take advatage of a TV’s HD. If you buy this to save space, you might be ending up with the opposite when you upgrade to the newer DVD players.
Anyone know if Comcast supports the use of this?
THis was my very first woot. It is nice, but VERY bulky. It is adequate and you get your monies worth. It is not the best system, but does a good job.

So not worth 125 bucks…I saw a sony at comp usa on clearance today for 99 $ and it was 600 watts granted no dvd player but for the value it should be a recorder as well…no woot goodnight everyone.
A Motorola receiver/ DVD player? Woot you always fine the weirdest brands of your products. You are the Big Lots of the internet, and I like that! Also the enter the word during the first 5 minutes of a new woot never works for me though.

I got it last time. Pretty good system. If you don’t like it, it’s heavy enough to anchor a large boat.

I never thought I’d see this one again. From the last couple times this monster has been here on woot, everybody seems to be pleased with it. It’s a heavy receiver - keep that in mind, and it needs decent ventilation. However keep in mind as well that along with a being a respectable entry level Dolby Digital receiver - it has a DVD player in it already. The cable tuner is a bonus, and may or may not work in your area.
How many other 5.1/6.1 receivers can you get shipped to your door for $125? Yup, you can, but they will be the bottom rung models. Good deal once again!
Very mixed reviews, from “great” to “junk”. Seems like a good risk given the price.
