I have this same monitor. It’s not bad at its job, but it completely blocks your wifi on the 2.4Ghz band. When this thing is on, you have zero internetz.

As a new dad I have had a lot of success with an IP Camera + TinyCam for Android. We have an old Nexus 7 that has become our monitor, but an old smartphone would work too.

I can see how a dedicated monitor would be nice if you were bad with tech, but there are definitely more flexible options out there.

That said, this is only slightly more expensive than our IP camera itself, without factoring in the N7.
