Motorola GSM 850/1900 Cellphone

This phone makes my RAZR look cutting-edge.

$15.00 for this?! They should pay us to get rid of these. Thank god they weren’t on the Woot off or we would never finish it.

Wow. I need a new cell phone but I like mine to flip closed or at least look like it’s been current at one time in the past 5 years.

They killed Kenny, those bastards.

OMG? who uses these anymore???
as a back up phone I guess its ok, but as a primary phone???
I mean, I might as well use one of these:

Seriously, I got this friend who is using an eleven year old cell phone. This would be a great upgrade for her.

I just don’t think I can spend the $15. Why must I be such a tightwad?

Loving the zombie write-up. Haha! XD

You know what this is good for? That annoying bratty teenage daughter who keeps begging her parents for a cell phone. She will remember this phone when she needs a new car…

Newegg: $30.

Seriously, every 2 years I get 3 free phones from AT&T, whether I need them or not. On my corporate discount, there is no upgrade charge, just the stupid CA free phone tax, which cost about $18 each for the phones we got this week. When we were short a spare, because my wife dropped the Razr in the toilet, we picked up a $10 GO Phone and used the dried out old chip and were good to go for the last 2 months before the upgrade.

does it work with verizon?

NO This is GSM: ATT, T-Mobile only in the USA. (and some little regional carriers)

OOOOOHHHH the STYLING!!!

This came in handy when I sold my 1st gen iPhone on eBay a few days prior to the release of the 3G iPhone. The $$$ I received from selling the first one on eBay covered not only the 3G’s price, but it also covered this phone’s price as well!

It may look ghetto, but I lost my phone once & had to spend quite a bit of $ to get a new one since it wasn’t time for me to upgrade. This is a great deal for someone in a bind!

Since I’m still waiting for T-Mobile to put out a better 3G phone this is something I actually will consider living with, as my MDA is on its death bed…

No, Verizon and Sprint are CDMA. This phone is compatible with GSM networks, so in the US that means AT&T (850 and 1900MHz) or T-mobile (1900MHz), and maybe some other small companies here and there.

This is actually good for on certain cruise ships. Some only work GSM cellphones. If you plan on traveling could be good to have.
