A few of my favorite movies are Pretty Woman,Good Will Hunting, stand and deliver, and Miracle (the true hockey movie). What are yours?

Here’s a few I like…

Walk The Line (+1)
Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
Gone With the Wind
Dances with Wolves
Raising Arizona

the brown bunny

American President
Shall We Dance

The Princess Bride
Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
Shaun of the Dead

The Italian job (The original with Michael Caine and Benny Hill)
Rhubarb (The 1969 film, not the 1950s US file about Baseball),0,214,317_AL.jpg,0,214,317_AL.jpg

I just watched the original and remake of “The Italian” job back-to-back last weekend. I like them both.

A few more ‘oldie’ movie favorites…

The Longest Day
Ben Hur
The Grapes of Wrath
Key Largo
Winchester '73
Bus Stop
True Grit (1969)
The Quiet Man
The Violent Men
North by Northwest
The Man Who Knew Too Much
The African Queen
3:10 to Yuma (1957)

This list is getting too long…

I like them both too, just the original is by far my favorite, partly because of the memories of it being on English TV every xmas that I can remember when I lived there, and partly because of Michal Caill being in the same movie.

And real Minis too!

That’s quite the selection there.

Hunt for Red October
Heartbreak Ridge

Adding Blind Side to the list.

100% Medically Accurate

Don’t forget:

The Wizard of Oz.
A movie that applies to everything in life.
>If I only had a brain.
>Poppies will make them sleep.
>When in trouble, throw a bucket of water on it.
>Never trust a witch, even the supposedly ‘good’ witch (Oh, did I forget to tell you? You could have gone home anytime you wanted to!).
>Ignore the man behind the curtain.
