Anyone have any luck with refurbished motherboards?
Yes, I didn’t buy refurbished but I’ve had refurbished boards sent back to me for warranty items and I’ve never had an issue.

Yes, I have used them in the past and have not had any issues. Honestly, the only time I’ve heard of a refurb board going bad was on YouTube. Easily could have been made up to make their video more appealing.
Usually a Mobo refurb will have meticulous checks with a multi meter to verify that everything is ok.
As long as you have a compatible CPU, you should go for it!
Make sure to have some thermal paste for after you install your CPU! I highly suggest Kryonaut grizzly. If you need something local, BestBuy carries Corsair TM40 thermal grease. Happy building!
