Just so you know Woot,
You can buy this New and it comes with a heatsink for 349.99 at a very well known store online… Free shipping of course.
Just so you know @higgensalnwick, we don’t mind if you post the link to reputable retailers. I’m not finding it on a quick Google search.
I found it:
https://www.newegg.com/msi-2tb-spatium-series/p/N82E16820140021
But it is $359 with the heatsink. $349 w/o.
FWIW, it’s at Newegg, but not sold or shipped by Newegg.
Sold and Shipped by DO IT
Seller has 21 reviews, 81% positive.
The one directly sold by Newegg is $393.99. Also folks who follow Gamer’s Nexus may have other thoughts about them being reputable.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
Hmmmm, yeah. I’m gonna leave our sale up. THANKS!
I was just looking for it. I’m still running a 10th Gen processor so I can’t make use of a PCI-E 4th gen M2 anyway. I’ll stick with my Gen 3’s.
Yeah, I can’t either. Newest is a R5 5600G + B450, which is PCI-E 3.0 too.
Most of my computers aren’t as well spec anyway. One of my newer acquisitions has a processor that makes some of the EOL Chromebooks here seem fast. 4GB of RAM and a spinning drive running W10 … the best thing was to format C. Replaced the optical drive for a boot SSD, now it’s a Linux file server that takes like 10w of power.
