I purchseda Mysoldius Universal Solar Charger to use camping. I plugged in my iPod Nano on a bright day, and left it in direct sunlight for several hours. The result was that the iPod battery was completely drained and I even had to reset the clock after charging it at home.

And yes, I was very careful to make the connections exactly as described in the instructions. I’m going to be trying to get my money back.

weird. I clicked “I want one” and logged in, and it just reloaded the front page (showing there were plenty left) instead of going to an ordering page. I hit “I want one” again and they were sold out. Oh well.

That’s because Ipods (being the idiot Apple gear it is) requires over .5A coming in to be charged. Which is, did I mention, stupid?
