With the rash of GPS systems out there how is one to know which brand is better than the other?

Turn by turn voice instructions is NOT the same as text to speech.

If its touchscreen, why so many buttons…?

I don’t know about this brand/if this is a good product. However, after doing a quick Google search, this price is pretty much the same everywhere. They’re averaging $110-140 most everywhere else. After woot shipping, it’s the same price. Don’t rush yourself into getting a GPS b/c you think this is a super good deal…

s/w updatable?

For $100, seems like a decent entry-level GPS nav.

Found it cheaper! Not a deal Woot!

What’s so bad about NavTour?

Love my gps! Remember when we didn’t have gps . . or cell phones . . . or laptops? Gosh we were living like primitives

What is up with all of these off the wall GPS units? Anyone have any personal experience with these, any reason to buy it over a well known brand?

I had one of these for one day, gave it away (to someone I didn’t like all that much) . . . unit is best used with external antenna and volume is very low even on highest setting. Manual is poorly written (conceived) - buy a Garmin or TomTom.

Nevermind Froogle–I’d have to google that one to see who the heck they are! No thanks!
