Wootâs offer:
Nespresso Creatista Plus Coffee and Espresso Machine by Breville, Stainless Steel
$359.99 refurb
Amazonâs offer:
Breville Nespresso Creatista Single Serve Espresso Machine with Milk Auto Steam Wand, Black
$227.99 new

Pictures look pretty damn identical to me. Donât blame me if it gets pulled down to sell some Woot product though. What is the difference between these two products? I must be missing something. What makes a refurb worth more? 100% identical stock photos, shows all the same accessories. I donât get why Woot would allow Amazon to have better pricing, but okay.
$419.65 + any applicable tax, for the same color which this listing is for:
Just to make sure I am understanding what I believe youâre suggesting. The suggestion here is that these are two different colors, thus one sells for $227.99 new on Amazon and the other sells for $419.65 new on Amazon? Also worth noting that pricing that ends in rare numbers such as â65â typically means that itâs being marked for a specific reason, either no longer being made or something similar.
Also:
Amazon pricing history VIA CCC shows the pricing is all over the place.
Type | Price | When |
---|---|---|
Current | $419.96 | Jun 07, 2019 |
Highest * | $599.99 | May 20, 2017 |
Lowest * | $299.99 | Nov 26, 2018 |
Average + | $498.63 | - |
Itâs Amazon, so OBVIOUSLY different colors will be different prices.
Ah ha! I actually figured it out. Two differencesâŚ
So per Amazon; the black one that is cheaper (the one I posted) has the following:
Auto frothing; 4 texture levels; 5 different milk temperature settings - Fast heat up in 10 seconds
vs
Auto frothing; 8 texture levels; 11 different milk temperature settings - Fast heat up in 3 seconds
So there ya go - +4 texture levels, +6 milk temperature settings, and it heats up 7 seconds faster.
So $132 price difference for the color, and the listed above changes. Not a bad deal!
This breaks down the Creatista models: https://ggccoffee.com/nespresso-creatista-vs-plus-vs-uno/
This beautiful Nespresso and Breville collaboration comes in two models: The Creatista and Creatista PLUS. But whatâs the difference between these two?
The Creatista PLUS packs more features and customization options that the Creatisa. Also, thereâs a small design difference. Letâs talk about this in detailsâŚ
Design:
- The Creatista Plus has a full stainless steel body.
- The Creatista has stainless steel front panel with colored sides.
Heat-Up Time:
- Both models have a quick start up time of 3 seconds.
Milk Temperature Settings:
- The Creatista Plus has a great range of 11 milk temperature settings to select from.
- With the Creatista, you can choose from 5 milk temperature settings.
Auto-Frothing:
- Creatista Plus offers 8 milk textures.
- Creatista has a selection of 4 milk textures.
Coffee Recipes:
- Both models can prepare different coffee drinks automatically: Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino, Cafe Latte, Flat White, Latte Macchiato.
I donât drink coffee, so most of what you said went right by me.

Youâre lucky. I kill at least 3 cups a day.
Where Nespresso really gets people is their lack of comparability to ensure they get a piece of the pie. Youâd think theyâd be giving them away to sell their overpriced pods.
There was a nice sale a few days ago on a popular brand. I doubt we will see much better.
