Does this unit come with any sample espresso capsules?

Update: Image says that capsules are not included.

I purchased this model from Amazon, and it came with 16 complimentary capsules in the box.

The sample box they came in does not look like the box shown in the photo.

It is possible that Woot is selling the same model I got “new” with no capsules, but I think it more likely it does come with 16.

Same price?

Was $77.99 (Nov 23, 2017) on Amazon with the sample kit.

Just checked, it is $122 on amazon, still dont know if any capsules come with either one?

I have tasted the future, and it has a wonderful crema and taste for something that comes out of a pod.

I find it funny that the copy for this deal centers on not compromising, but the entire idea of Nespresso is compromising control and variety in one’s espresso for the push-button convenience.

I’ll be over here enjoying drinks made from freshly-roasted beans with grind settings I can control and an actual steam wand.

And I’ll be over here pushing a button at work and enjoying espresso. Again and again.

These are great - own one, and love it.

I had one of these at an AirBNB I stayed at. Much quicker & easier than my real deal espresso machine… but not too bad. This does a better job with espresso than a Keurig does with coffee.

I pull/make my own espresso’s with freshly roasted and ground beans at home and it beats this all day, of course, but I have also used Nespresso machines at work for years for their practicality and ease of use. No, not the same as the home-made drinks, but they certainly do make good coffee for the work-place (or anywhere else you need that sort of practicality and ease).

This is a good price on this machine.

I haven’t bought from Nespresso in a number of months (still have a good sized collection), but when I last bought from them, most of their pods were in the ballpark of $0.70-$1.00 each, to be purchased in 10-pack “sleeves.”)

(One drawback - significant for some people - is the environmental impact of so many pods being thrown into the trash - they do have a recycling program if you’re fortunate enough to have one of the few Nespresso stores nearby and would be mindful enough to return the empties.)

If you order from Nespresso itself, you can add a pre-paid recycling bag (holds 100-200 pods) for $0 to just drop in the mail when it is full.

True dat!
