Netgear 108Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter

Ugh…SmartPost…

anyone know if this would work on an XBox 360? I dont wanna pay $100 for their shitty official receiver… and if this will work, then consider me in for one.

I might just grab one up if they are still around when I wake up. We’ll see

Yeah! Refub! Goodie!

I also have used this model with my D-link router. Till I upgraded to my netgear router.

cries heart out

This looks like crap and it’s refurbished

Shouldn’t have waited an hour, just bought it for 10$ more, mad now.

No, it is not top of the line. However this is still a useful device. I do wish that it had some sort of ring on the end so that I could hang it on my id lanyard at work.

I have one. Works great. Too bad I payed about $50 for mine from Radio Shack. =\

I have one of these, I use it for my desktop because I don’t have an internal wireless card. It works really well.

Refoobished? Dammit.

I have a Netgear Rangemax wireless; is this worth getting to match up with it?

I own this same adaptor… In fact, I am using it right now. I actually spent $45 on it at Best Buy… it works great, and it does work on Vista. Only problems I’ve had with it are minimal, occasionally it doesn’t want to connect, and will turn itself off for unknown reasons. Other than that, it performs great, and I love it.

I have this and it works great. I would get two at this price!

I still use a G3 iMac. it is not even ten years old. no built-in airport, not even a slot for adding one.

FYI: USB wireless is known for overheating and dying, especially netgear and trendNET. I had a friend say this exact model overheated on him repeatedly. He could only use it 5 minutes at a time =)

Have one similar but better and not refurbished for cheaper price on sale. Works great, well mine does, but I recommend further research b/4 purchasing.

ciao!
Night all

Anyone know what chipset this adapter uses?

Yeah, only problem with this woot for me is that I have a built in wireless adapter. I’d be bummed that I can’t help keep this out of a BOC, but that’s life.
