this guy gets 3.5 stars on Amazon. ANd I really like my Netgear Wireless Router… . http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-WPN824-RangeMax-Wireless-Router/dp/B0007U9KAY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1214542883&sr=8-1

3.6 stars on Buzzillions too…

Ooooh. 7.8 from the CNET experts too. Very nice woot…

Refurb = rejected

DD WRT Compatible?

Works well but not Wireless N - need Netgear card to get higher speeds. Funky blue lights are cool.

Nice! in for 3!!

eBay ~ $13 - $100? lol

white’s not my style

Just bought this router a few months ago, paid 80 bucks for it, curse you for being 2 months late Woot!!! Works great for me, I would buy 3 if i were you.

Anyone know if this guy can do traffic shaping? e.g. prioritize VOIP over Bittorrent.

i heard the blue lights were really annoying.

Darn, I knew a wireless router would appear shortly after buying a router for my friend.

Just put duct-tape over them.

Oh Woot, hopefully many of those who have no previous exp with netgear product would go in for 3! otherwise…will have to see this item someday on woot-off! again!

I know someone who ended up taping over the blue lights because it got too annoying!

The blue lights are annoying but there is a button to turn them off. Great router. I’ve had it for about a year without a single problem.

I had this router for about four months also purchased refurbished. It started dropping my internet at least 10 times a day after those four months. Good temporary router to have though.

Blue lights are annoying - see Amazon review about the pleasure of smashing this unit repeatedly with your fists until the blue lights (and the unit itself) stops working.

Too bad, not only is it only wireless g, but it also does not work with dd-wrt or any other custom firmware.

The previous netgear on here I bought only because dd-wrt could be flashed on it and so far it has been working great.

I would stay away from any Netgear router that can’t be flashed with a custom firmware. Apparently it is their crappy firmware that is the issue not so much their hardware…
