Looks cool…wonder if it works as good as it looks?!

not bad. mowed the grass today and thought it’s time for a new lawn mower…

woot has went green.

wow…a lawnmower on woot. is this a first?

My lawn would eat this thing alive.

Are you serious? I’m a vegan, environment-loving bastard, and this sucks. You don’t burn enough gas mowing the lawn to justify the stuff needed to make a new lawnmore unless you have a huge ass lawn.

They’ve gone to plaid.

My family researched into getting one of these. They seem lightweight, but the battery is rather hefty and there is no self propulsion. Keep these things in mind when ordering.

Also, the battery takes 18-24 hours to charge, not all customers will be able to cut the yard on one charge either.

Actually, I believe the first woot was a robotic lawnmower.

Looks like Speed Racer’s lawnmower. That’s pretty cool. Too bad I live in an apartment.

in on 1, and in for 3. this thing is great!

I have the neuton 4.1, an earlier version. It is a great mower for lawn less than 1/4 acre. The mower is quiet and easy to push. We love it. It’s a savings of $75 from the website. We got ours at a mower exchange program in the city. For an old gas mower plus $100, we got the 4.1. I have an accessory kit but it is for the 6.2. Otherwise I would buy one.

Most people don’t know lawn mowers are the highest Co2 emitters of all engines legal in the u.s.

FACT: one hour of mowing is the equivalent of driving 350 miles in terms of volatile organic compounds.

Fact: One gas mower spews 87 lbs. of the greenhouse gas CO2, and 54 lbs. of other pollutants into the air every year.

Fact: Over 17 million gallons of gas are spilled each year refueling lawn and garden equipment – more oil than was spilled by the Exxon Valdez.

Time to replace our gas mowers with electric ones like the neutron

A great mower. It is about $75 cheaper here than at their site. I have one and it works better than gas. No cord pulling, gas mess, etc. It turns on and off like a charm!

A product like this drives home the point that with woot there is no tax and $5 shipping even though it’s heavy and $$$…

This may work in inner cities… in the 'burbs with the 1/3 acre+ yards + 14" + 50 minutes of cut time = 3 times I would need to mow each week.

I love the environment, but I think I love my time even more…
