I received one that showed up as being reported stolen or lost when I set it up. Called amazon customer service and they didn’t even know what Woot was… Immediate return.
It’s sad when mom forgets that we exist.
Sorry for the issue. Looks like Amazon put a return back into inventory.
Make sure you reach out from the account that made the purchase. I don’t see an order for this item on the account you’re posting from.
It has also happened to me repeatedly with Alexa and FireTV. They arrive reported as lost or stolen. They have returned my money, but they should still be more careful. Also, Amazon support says they do not recognize woot as an Amazon brand and does not help you.
Yeah, Amazon customer service isn’t aware of all the subsidiaries Amazon has. Sometimes you have to ask them to look at the bottom of the Amazon main page or try a different rep.
It hurts when mom doesn’t recognize us.
Or,… my suggestion is to bypass Amazon (big, monolithic corp) support and come back directly to Woot Support. Woot CS has access to to the sale info, not to mention ability to investigate the supply source.
I’ve seen reports of Wooters getting better response at Apple but still had to provide proof of purchase.
