The product name is NEW Amazon Kindle (2019 Release) but the condition is listed as Amazon Refurbished.
I was wondering if the “NEW” in the title refers to the condition of the item (i.e., brand new), or if it’s more like the “New” in “The New iPad”, which means it was a new model release in 2019, but not necessarily a brand new, unused item.

Based upon the pricing and the MY, one can safely assume that this offering is for Refurbished units and the New in the title is a misnomer. The 2019 model was, in fact, the release of the “New” 10th generation Kindle, so its inclusion in the title may be an artifact from its original release.
