The version before they made the Apple Pencil 2 obsolete.
Not exactly a great deal.
Costco had this exact same iPad Pro, same generation/memory, on clearance earlier this month for $699. I snagged one and am using it right now. They are currently sold out though.
I was shopping for a new iPad Air when I found the Costco deal… This woot is actually more expensive than a current generation iPad Air, and the Air has a newer processor. Only significant things this generation Pro gives you that the Air doesn’t is FaceID and ProMotion… you have to decide if those are worth an extra $100 over the current Air.
Not the same iPad Pro as the one on Costco clearance. This one has 256GB and yours only has 128 GB…ultimately, it’s not a bad deal
eta
They must’ve had the listing changed. Early this morning I could’ve sworn it was 256GB and 899.99
Where do you see this one is 256gb? This one is 128gb only.
$899.00
Condition New
Color Space Gray
Screen Size 12.9"
Capacity 128GB
Quantity Limit 10 per customer
Is this iPad AppleCare eligible or just the standard Apple warranty?
Costco will often be cheaper than Woot due to their pricing structure. I bought the 11” version last year for $649 when the M4 models came out. Your model was something like this price at that time. You def scored a bargain.
The $x.97 price displayed is Costco’s limited time closeout price so even lower than usual.
The iPad Pro has many more advanced features over the newer iPad Air, regardless of processor. Camera, screen, Pencil support, RAM, etc.
Comparing apples to oranges - .
If truly new in box and not previously activated , may be eligible. You might have to contact Apple and show proof of purchase with the date.
Update: Woot just reduced it from $899.00 to $869.00. Woot still needs to cut more from the price in order for it to sell!
Lower to 699, I may get one.

They still stuck an 8 in there, and not where we would like
I’ll say. They “dropped” the price to $20 below what you pay at Apple, without the easy 14-day return policy (easier than Woot! if you’re anywhere near an Apple Store), same 1-year Apple warranty, and Apple Care eligible. So, before Woot! dropped the price, they were $10 more than Apple was charging.
So, Woot!, crappy deal, crappy adjustment.
Do better.
For reference:
Yeah, I know the Apple deal is for refurb, but this is for “new”. I’d take Apple certified refurb at their price with their support options every day over new-old here, every day.
Not something worth the font here, TT.
Especially since before the drop, Woot! was sticking it to folks for $10 more than Apple was charging for the same item, with better support options. Every once in a while Woot! puts out these non-deals, and it ain’t a good look!

I got the same iPad from woot a few months ago for $999. It was the same except it had 2TB storage. And 1 year Apple warranty and Apple Care eligible.
I’m very happy with my purchase, thanks woot!
Apple Certified Refurb is usually “like new” with new battery and chassis, unblemished screen. And eligible for Apple Care+. So yes, tough choice between new in box and Apple Cert Refurb … unless the price is different.
One benefit of buying from Apple: veteran discounts (10% generally), or corporate employee store discounts. And if you use an Apple Card (the Goldman Sachs one), you get a percentage back, bringing the price lower. (If you have Amazon Prime and a Prime Visa, you also get a little $ back from a Woot purchase.)
This is not to poo-poo Woot, but when pricing is the same, Woot has a hard time competing with Apple. Just my 2¢.
