It is 3 years old. I think you are stretching the limits of what you can call new.
It appears to be new in the box. So unsold stock from a few years ago. I’d bite if the price were right. I’m typing this on a 2013 MBP that’s in perfect shape.
Overpriced
Overpriced for the age although likely still will be covered by warranty since NIB. But, although this model is faster than any similar PC, I would spend my money on a newer, even faster version.
I don’t think it’s a good deal in general, but this is actually a pretty competitive price with used models (on Swappa at least). So if someone was going to buy a 16" M1 Macbook Pro, this is probably the way I would point them.
I probably wouldn’t point them towards an M1 Macbook Pro, though, because I still don’t think it’s a good deal in general.
