Dumb question but why are they in a generic brown box instead of normal Apple Watch box? Are these display units?
Possibly opened to verify contents then placed in a brown box, instead of making the original box look tampered with, is my guess.

Yeah $70 less than a new watch 11 is not a great deal. For a second I thought 10 was the latest. No so.
In other Apple listings that come in brown boxes, Woot explained that these were sold to them by Apple in bulk to liquidate old stock and save money. They come in brown boxes because it would’ve cost Apple more to package each item in their retail boxes.
