(NEW) Apple Watch Series 7 Smart watch [GPS + Cellular 45mm]

Has anybody else received a watch that won’t turn on or charge? So, disappointed, since the watch is gorgeous.

Morning. It’s coming from Amazon inventory so it may have been sitting for a while. Make sure you give it an overnight charge for the first charge.

If still no luck, reach out to Woot customer service.

Thank you. Will do. It’s been on the charger for over 6 hours, now. Still not responding. Hoping it starts to work.

I received my “new” Apple watch series 7 product red yesterday. It looks gorgeous and it’s absolutely dead. I did everything but sing Mammy to it. I tried the included charger and a couple of other ones with Apple approved charging blocks. I left it on the charger all last night. The little apple logo bobs on and off randomly, that’s about all I get. The watch got slightly warm but not hot. I reached out to customer service, I would love to get a replacement before they run out if they have any that work.
It’s a shame because I ordered screen protectors, a case and nylon watch bands for it already. If customer service is reading this, please help me! :face_holding_back_tears:

Customer Service doesn’t monitor the forums, you’ll need to use the form.

Make sure you contact customer service. They’ll have some options for you. Here’s the blurb.

Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)

I did that very first thing, of course. I was just hoping to expedite the process before Woot runs out of this particular watch.
Now going back to wondering why Woot doesn’t have a support phone number or a search function.

Anyone try to force reset it to see if it will turn on/start charging?

Tried that. It didn’t work. :slightly_frowning_face:

A lovely individual named Chaitanya is sending me a replacement and return label. Fingers and toes crossed it’s a nice one – it’s a beautiful watch IMHO.

Woo hoo! My Woot order’s a-comin’! :nose: :nail_polish: :robot:

(The replacement should be here tomorrow. They sent the RMA # and shipping label yesterday.)

I just received the replacement. I did not try to turn it on or adjust it, just put it on the rapid charger and leaving it alone to see what happens.

It’s dead too. The Apple logo lights up for 2-3 seconds and fades out to orange then goes away.

Is ANYBODY having any luck with theirs? Woot has been fumbling and stumbling a lot lately with defective or mis-represented items. Not happy.

I’m seeing the exact same with mine. Apple logo comes up briefly, turns orange, and fades. It sat on the charger overnight. I’ve already got a ticket in with Support.
I asked for an exchange but it’s looking like I should just ask for a refund.

I got took a while back on a “Grade A Refurbished” Apple Watch 7 from Woot. (Spoiler: It wasn’t Grade A.) I accepted a partial refund because the battery was below the guaranteed threshold. The screen has since died. I, too, am pretty unhappy with Woot-- specifically their apple watches. :frowning:

I sang Mammy to mine, and it caught fire. I’m assuming this was not expected behavior but the manual burned too so i cannot confirm.
