I bought one of these when listed a couple weeks ago and received it yesterday. The battery was dead on arrival and it will not charge. When placed in the dock/base it just blinks a single “bar” on the battery indicator, but after hours of charging it never charges enough to even turn on. Anyone else have this issue?

I’m having the exact same issue. It arrived completely dead and doesn’t appear to be holding any charge.

My charging station (base station, auto cleaning station thingy whatever) is very finicky. It sometimes charges, sometimes will start charging when I’m looking, then stops shortly after leaving me with one bar.
The unit itself cleans very well - but I’d have to give it a 2/5 for charging difficulties and also a demerit for a terrible UI on the little LED screen. I don’t know what the Water Flow Hi/Lo means when it’s steady, off, or flashing. I just keep pressing the button until it’s flashing and I get good results.

I use it. I like it. I probably wouldn’t recommend it.
Check and see if there’s anything covering the charging contacts like a thin vinyl sticker. I seem to recall there was something like that on mine. Can’t remember if it was on the vac side or the charger side.

Same issue. DOA. I already contacted support and asked for a replacement but sounds like the batch Whoot is selling is all DOA units…

Same here. DOA… Won’t charge. Woot sent another which arrived today. Same issue. DOA and won’t charge. I just get a flashing single bar when on the charger and nothing when off the charger.

The first one I got also had been opened before. The 2nd had 2 pieces of tape on the top.

Do not buy- item is dead on arrival

Purchased April 3rd
Arrived a April 7th

Battery is dead, this is new OLD stock battery NO longer charges

RA from woot today, I’ll get my return more than likely 2.5 weeks from now.

Want a time vampire to keep my $$$$ captive, buy it and wait for you $$ back for a plastic paper weight

Hello there. Sorry for the problems with the vacuums.

Make sure you give them a full overnight charge before declaring them dead. Sometimes the batteries need to be “woke up”.

I’m having the exact same issue. Twice. Ordered one, and it wouldn’t hold a charge. They were great about sending a replacement. Replacement came today and also won’t hold a charge. I’m thinking these are all heavily discounted because they’re lemons? Never had an experience like this before. I will say that customer service has been great.

Yes!
This is so annoying! I thought it was something I did wrong, apparently not. I am on the second one with the same exact problem.
Battery DOA. This is unreal, the amount of garbage like this I’ve seen lately being sold on Woot, is ridiculous.

Now I guess I will be returning this one also. I think I will opt to option 1 and get a full refund this time and not take my chances again.
Sorry for the vent… just annoyed at the level of quality the products are that are coming from woot lately.
It’s almost like every purchase is like buying a Bag Of Crap, you never know what you’ll get.

Does anyone know how to take off the handle so it fits back in the box? I’m returning my original and the replacement they shipped me sice they both had the defective batteries. Can’t figure out how to take off the handle that snapped in…

I am having the same problem. I left it plugged in overnight and it still shows one battery bar blinking and will not hold any charge. I returned one thinking I just had a defective one, and ordered a new one. The same thing happened with the replacement.

Behind the top water tank there’s a little rubber panel. You can pull that up from the bottom, which will reveal the latch button for the handle. I had to press it and pull much harder than expected, and kind of wedge a screwdriver in there to get it to work, but eventually you can get it moving and remove the handle.
