I have the X1700H which is the prior model of this same unit and I love it. It replaced a 8 year old Denon that just started acting up. I prefer this with front, back and center channel speakers with a sub vs the soundbar approach. I don’t think any of the current gen electronics will last as long as the equipment from the 80s (still missing my old Marantz with gyro touch tuning). But then again these new units have so much more technology in them…this is a decent price even though the AVRs have gone up in price considerably post COVID.
