Try this:

Do a factory reset and make sure that when doing the activation setup, that your phone is connected to local WiFi. This WiFi/internet connection during setup allows the phone to receive the update from Google’s servers.

Google was supposed to have unlocked them but they didn’t. Now they did so you just need to follow those steps.

Google doesn’t honor any warranties for devices bought on WOOT.

I thought when you set up a new phone and it’s register under Google , Google has 1 year warranty for mechanical failures no?

Google no longer honours the warranty for phones bought from Woot.

It became a whole thing, and now Woot sells them with a vendor warranty, like I linked to above.

Yeah at least it was only a $450 risk instead of like 2000 people are bang but I have never been thrilled about the direction foldables just because they’re making things harder to fix and more expensive.

They scratch at a level two with deeper grooves have a level 3 instead of at 6/7 like glass. It’s just inherent weakness. But if I did get one it would probably be this one just cuz I love the shortfront screen and the passport shape that opens to the landscape and default

I actually think LG had the better idea with the dual screen accessory that you could take on and off.

That’s disappointing Google has been a problem in terms of customer service for a lot of people I. They had three battery appeasement programs on the Pixel 4a 6a and 7a. Updated the phones essentially breaking them limiting their battery capacity by half or more and then giving an arbitrary amount of money to the person.

But you get the money you had to give all your data and bank information and ID to some shady financial company I’ve never heard of the charges 20 bucks a year just to use their services . Payoneer.

Can anyone confirm what model number/variant is this Pixel Fold phone? I want to be sure I am able to unlock the bootlaoder and install GrapheneOS on it before purchasing. Thanks

This phone arrived 3 days after ordering via UPS 2nd day air and no signature was needed. It is indeed unlocked and was originally an AT&T phone based on the SIM card which was inserted into the tray. It was manufactured in August 2023 and since it was still factory sealed, the battery was in a deep drain state. I simply had to charge it for a few minutes, then it booted up. T-Mobile’s network connected right away via SIM. It’s going on 2 weeks and the battery health is sitting at 100 percent. I’m so satisfied with this phone that I ordered a second one. It arrives tomorrow and this one will have taken 8 days to arrive (Memorial Day weekend included) and is also arriving via UPS 2ND DAY shipping. This is a great deal!
