I got one of these last time it was up for sale. It was a limited edition with a black matte body and a glossy red top. It made great coffee but the firmware wouldn’t update. In researching this there seemed to be a lot of people with the same issue. Further, it appeared that the model I got was only available outside the US, but it had a US plug!
Anyway, I tried Nespresso customer service to no avail. I finally had to go to the BBB and complain. That got action right away and they sent me a brand new machine. That one updated fine.
So if you have an issue with the firmware, know that you will likely have to go the BBB route to get it fixed. The coffee is great, however
