Does anyone know if you can add Samsung care/mobile + plan to this model.

I believe you can do it through either the Samsung Account portal or the Samsung Members app on the phone at any time within 60 days of purchase.

This is a STEAL at the original price and even moreso after the additional price drop! Unlocked AND 1TB?! Locked and loaded!!!

Is this an international unlocked version? Has anybody used this on Tmobile USA?

This is the USA version, not international.

Got mine today - phone was brand new, USA version, in a factory sealed box.

Honestly, didn’t care for how it was shipped though - they just tossed the Samsung packaging inside a UPS envelope and sent it with absolutely no other padding. The envelope looked like it had been beaten to death when it was handed to me, but the phone was undamaged.

This is definitely an absolutely fantastic deal for anyone that wants the 1TB phone but either doesn’t have a decent trade in phone and/or doesn’t want to deal with a carrier lock-in payoff over multiple years.

It was such a good deal that my brother had me order one for him as well.

Well, my brother got his today. It was packaged exactly the same way mine was (dropped into a thin bubble wrap envelope), only this time the Samsung box was all dented up due to UPS’ usual loving care during shipment.

Waiting until he gets home from work tonight to see if the phone is okay.

Woot really needs to do something about its packaging practices for things like this, in consideration that it is a $1,200+ item with tax. Hey, here is a thought - raise the price by $5 and actually ship it packaged in an actual box instead of a padded envelope.

I don’t think I’ll be buying any more phones here no matter how good the price is.

That’s likely Woot’s only working method to deter resellers.

Blame @davejlives

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)

How was the unlock process? I’m scared to open mine because the IMEI on the package says locked but caveat emptor might be a different story once I open. Don’t want to open then be SOL I can’t port over to my carrier, T-Mobile.

There was no unlock process for me, as these are supposed to be new, factory unlocked phones in factory sealed boxes. As a result, the IMEI on the phone should not be locked (presuming it isn’t blacklisted as a lost phone) as it has never been used with a carrier before.

Presuming you typed the IMEI correctly and the IMEI lock message is correct, I’d talk to Woot customer support about it to ensure you didn’t get a blacklisted phone or a returned phone of some kind.

It arrived locked out of box. It’s still tied to Visible and was getting rejected by T-Mobile saying it’s locked. Sigh

So sorry for that experience, that stinks. Pls reach out to CS:

So are these truly unlocked or what been seeing some that aren’t unlocked

How muxh did it drop

Hello. We’ve sold well over 100 of these already and only one person has reported a locked phone. They should be fully unlocked. If there’s an issue, CS is there to help you.

I just want to add a successful comment. This phone is indeed what is advertised. I put in my T-Mobile SIM card and it worked easily.
