NEW Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 11" Tablet

Not sure what you’re asking. The resolution is to reach out to customer service to request a return for a full refund. Your return was received on 7/28 at the end of the day. Please allow 5-7 business days for them to process the return and issue the refund.

Just wanted to circle back to this thread. I normally don’t post reviews or comments anywhere (ever). But I previously mentioned above how I had already reached out to Woot customer support for this issue, which to me is an absurd issue to begin with. But after asking several times if the issue could be escalated and receiving mostly generic responses to just simply return the item for a refund, I’m really annoyed because to me that is unacceptable. When I ask if the issue can be escalated and if a different resolution can be reached (ie. either fix the underlying issue with the locked tablet or find a new replacement), it took several follow ups attempts from me and weeks to get an answer. Finally someone said yes we can send you a replacement immediately. Then crickets again for a week. When I followed up again the next support person said sorry we actually don’t have any more available for a replacement so just return for a refund - back to square one. It would be one thing if they were sent out and we had experienced this issue immediately and we had to return for a refund without any replacement. That would still be annoying but not as bad as the current situation which is, we’ve already had the tablet and used it just fine for over a month and then it randomly locked on us and now after a month of my daughter having it, customizing it and saving things to it, and taking pictures with it during our vacation, now we have to just wipe it, lose everything that was on there, and send it back and look elsewhere for a new one all over again. Plus I’ll need to either replace with the exact same model since i bought accessories for this specific one, or get something different and eat the cost of these accessories and buy new accessories on top of that. So mad..

Agreed. This just happened to me too. Son is devastated.

Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 48-72h for them to respond.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

This same thing happened to me so I send a note to customer service. I was asked to file a claim with UPS. Is that expected? UPS asked whether I still had the original packaging (which I do not). I expected the return support to be from Woot (not UPS)? I might be missing something? Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. They probably misread it as it was stolen in shipment.

I’ll send them a note.

thank you!

Apparently support ended a lot sooner for a lot of these when they were marked as stolen.

The last time something like this happened, a school district sold off extra inventory but forgot to remove them from their inventory. Then when they did the year-end inventory, they came up missing and were marked as stolen.

I see others have had the same issue with this tablet. I purchased mine at the end of June but didn’t boot up until the end of October. I successfully registered the tablet to my Samsung account and it worked for one week until being reported as stolen. This is ridiculous. If WOOT was aware of the issue from other customers, they should have reached out to me once they realized that my tablet was in this bad batch.

I’m sorry for the issue. Not every unit was affected. Make sure you reach out to Woot customer service.

I’m getting this popup from the tablet and customer service has been less-than-helpful, do I have any options?

Drat. I’m sorry. Let me reach out to customer service for you.

I found this thread after my tablet also threw the same error just yesterday. This was a Christmas gift for my significant other. I reached out on email to customer service and they say they can’t help. Is that true - I just have to eat the cost of this?

Morning. Let me reach to CS for you.

Omg, why are they still selling these stolen units almost a year later? We just ordered one a couple weeks ago and right out of the box we got the “locked” measage. They sent a return label but now UPS wants to charge me money to pick it up. I guess i have to make the 30+ mile round trip to drop it off at a UPS store. Their screw up is costing me money! They should be sending out a coupon for 20% off another purchase for this. Makes me so mad…

Did you ask Woot CS if they could schedule a pickup for you?

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Hello. To our knowledge, the vendor pulled all affected units from their inventory.

I don’t see a purchase of this item on the account your posting from. When reaching out to customer service, you do so from the account that made the purchase.
