Par for the course. My odor status usually reads “Preparing to ship” when I get a UPS notification of delivery next day. Shows “Shipped” for a day or two after I have the Woot prezzie in my hot li’l hands.
I suspect it really depends upon the vendor/supplier the prezzie is drop-shipped from.
Oh, I’d wondered why I was getting pre-amble notifications from UPS. Of course, of course. Create a login at UPS with your address, and they send a notice (email, or SMS) when your address is entered in the system for a new delivery. I never gave it any thought.

I was a bit concerned after the shipping stories, so figured I might as well add another success.
Took 3 days before I got my shipping label, but then came remarkable fast after that, in just another 3 days. So in total I ordered Sunday and got next Saturday. I honestly completely missed the delivery window since I wasn’t expecting it but thankfully nobody stole it. Ill post a follow up once I get everything set up.

So I ordered it on Sunday, March 22 and was just informed that they are unable to fill the order and that they have refunded my payment. Not a very good experience, so far, for my first interaction with Woot. I see that a Panama version is on offer. Any thoughts on what risk there might be, or any thoughts as to whether the American version might become available again? Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your cancellation. I think our supplier sold a few units to another account and forgot to tell us, so we oversold by a few units. BUT, we’ve got some more ZA units available from another supplier right now. Costing isn’t as good, so the price is a bit higher. However, I hear rumors that our main supplier will be back instock again on this item in the next 7-10 days, and we’ll be listing those units at the same $967.99 retail as before. So if you can wait and keep an eye on the site, then you should be able to snag one again.
