I bought this unit last time it was on sale here. I received it, but it was missing the optical cable, so i don’t think it was “new”.
Sound-wise don’t expect it to blow you away. it definitely beats the built in tv speakers, but when it says with “subwoofer” it’s more like a subwoof, as in very little base. It was worth it for the FireTV Option though. at $70 it was a worthwhile purchase for a bedroom or other secondary viewing area.
Fyi- if your item arrives and its missing a part you can always let CS know. It helps if you find the missing piece for sale and send them a link.
Can you turn off the FireTV/Alexa stuff? Is it always on in some way?

I know this thread is sort of old but I had a question. What is the main reason why people bought this?
Personal experience: I have one of these. I primarily use this for the Fire TV functionality which is great but as a sound bar itself, i find my TV has louder and better volume (I have an old TCL Roku tv). Then again, I’ve never had a sound bar or anything before so I don’t know what the expectations are with these things.
What color is the fabric on your soundbar? I wanted black and mine is gray. Not a super huge deal but everything I have is black and this totally sticks out.
It also blocks the remote sensor on the tv because the tv and this are on a stand. It’s a TLC 65 roku tv the remote sensor is on the bottom in the middle of the tv right behind this speaker. One more thing, I have an echo dot for a laptop bluetooth speaker that I never put on wifi or turned the mic on. Since I started this firetv sound bar I’m getting loud obnoxious announcements. Gonna have to unplug the dot and get another bluetooth speaker for the laptop now. Just an FYI on that predicament.
My soundbar was delivered yesterday missing all accessories. It was obviously an open box item although advertised “(new)”…. the end of the packaging was crushed and taped shut bc there was no accessories inside the box to prevent it from being crushed. Want the soundbar but need the other items for it.
Already reported to customer service … awaiting a reply to replace the items missing or adjust the pricing for it.
I received mine yesterday with the exact same problem! Accessories missing and box ends crushed and taped up! Also sold as “new”! Waiting for a replacement!
looks like I’m not the only one who get this minus all the cords… if they’re intentionally leaving out the cables it should say so

I placed an order for this on Jan 29,.got confirmation of payment processed on Jan 30 with expected delivery for Feb 5.
And … No delivery came… all the way till Feb 10
Contacted Woot support and got the canned : we are sorry but we didn’t ship your order and now we have no more left in our warehouse so we are issuing a refund. We hope you will take this as an isolated incident
What a joke. I’m never buying from Woot again
