For those interested in this product, since there are no reviews yet, here is my take as someone who owned the Ultimate Woojer Vest (this model being sold is the base version).
It is a gimmick. The marketing makes it sound far more exciting than it is. In reality, it is like strapping a couple of subwoofers to your body. It vibrates, and that is about it. The novelty wears off quickly. I say this having owned the top-tier version; this base model has fewer speakers and features.
It also gets hot when worn because of the amount of power it draws. The so-called “haptic” experience is misleading. It does not feel like an impact in a game when you get hit; it feels more like standing next to a speaker with the bass cranked up and the treble turned down. It is not immersive, just mildly distracting.
I returned mine because no one in my household, myself, my wife, or my daughter, found it memorable. On me (6’2"), it looked ridiculous, almost like a tube top. My wife compared it to sitting in the back of a car with an overpowered sound system.
If you see one listed as “Open Box”, it probably means someone else tried it, came to the same conclusion, and sent it back.

If you put a ported subwoofer by your feet you can feel the explosions. It’s kind of nice. As far as this product goes, it’s just a vibrating vest. Apple needs to make a vest with the haptic technology from the phones.
