Thanks for the links to previous offers. This offer is an obvious don’t buy without some sort of Woot guarantee that the product will ship with all the stuff indicated on the offer. Two previous offers were fails.
I bought this when it was for sale last year. Worked great the first time on the crockpot setting! The second time I went to use the crockpot setting, anywhere from low to high, it never got hot. But the stove top setting worked…so I had to monitor the food because even on low stove top, the soup started to boil. I contacted woot about this, I’m pretty sure it was still in the time period for limited warranty, and I was told there weren’t anymore of the product. So I could opt for a partial refund (of $8) or some other option. I took the $8 and now have a very pretty looking crockpot that sits on top of the cabinets. I hope my experience was a fluke, but I offer it as a warning.
So it was outside of 90 days warranty by Ninja?
To be fair, most of the complaints were due to the missing bag and cookbook. Woot mistakenly listed the specs of the NIB item, instead of the Refurb’d item. That is not the case this time, they do not claim it includes the bag or the cookbook. The only risk is a damaged unit, of which there were very few complaints for, from an unknown number of purchasers. If 5 people got dented units, but 2000 people bought units, that leaves a .25% chance of you getting a damaged unit. Even if only 200 units were sold that is still only a 2.5% chance. On a personal note, only one person mentioned a nun-functional/improperly functioning unit. The others were simply dented. This is an issue because…? Who cares if it is dented, it is super cheap and it is made for cooking, not decoration.
Another note: You can get recipe books and individual recipes on the internet, for free. I just got a cookbook with 1400 slowcooker recipes. Put the PDF on your phone or tablet or print the recipes as you need them. The cookbook not being including is BARELY an issue when it was promised, and a non-issue now that it is not promised.
Good comments. I agree completely. Last time this was offered, we grabbed one, and it was in excellent condition…I would’ve sworn it was new. Besides that, I didn’t care that there wasn’t a carry bag, and like you said, I can find all kinds of cookbooks and recipes online. Bottom line, this was a great purchase at a great price for me. Woot! gave me a $20 refund/credit due to the bag/cookbook mixup, which I though was quite fair.
So no deep-frying in this?
(Not that I’m even remotely tempted due to the other comments, sigh…)
I have had one for a few years now (bought elsewhere for much higher price) and use it all the time. I am still very happy with it. It is nice to be able to saute or brown and then switch to slow-cooker mode and not have to dirty another pan.
I have this same unit (bought on Woot a few years ago) and absolutely love it. It is my go-to cooking appliance. It’s a crock pot, stove-top and oven all in one. I love the warm feature. I can set it in the morning and it will shut off after the set time and keep the food hot until I get home. This is an excellent deal today.
One of the best appliances I’ve ever bought. Does everything perfectly except shine your shoes!

Very happy with mine. It is unique in that it allows you to sear/brown then slow cook in the same pot.
I have a refurb one and I love it. I use it a few times a month to stock up the freezer. The oven setting is great for getting things up to temp fast before switching it over to slow cooking mode.
I bought one for a friend, and he is really happy with it too. One I got for my parent had a screwey control panel, but they replaced the unit and that one works fine. They don’t really use this thing very often because it’s just too massive for the two of them.
Also, it takes up a lot of storage/counter space.
You want us to buy used kitchen equipment?
Is the cooking pot metal or ceramic?
Half of my kitchen is refurbed stuff form woot and it is awesome! Pasta maker, ice cream maker. Stuff I got for almost 1/2 off.
Yes. That is why at 55 years old I am a millionaire. In for one.
I bought the 4 in 1 and it is great. The only problem it did not come with a cookbook and carrying case,
