Can you use pods?
Well, it says “Pod-free” right in the description…
I had a previous version of this item. It lasted one month and Ninja would do nothing to repair or replace. Ninja and Shark are the same company - and I had a similar experience with the only Shark product I ever bought. I would steer far, far away from this coffeemaker.
My experience was the exact opposite. I bought one of these exact ones (refurbished) last year, and there was a problem with it. Ninja customer service shipped me a brand new one at no charge, free shipping. It is still going strong, though I am a fairly light user, just a few uses per week.
I don’t drink coffee, but my wife has this one and uses it daily. She loves it and you’re not forced to buy pods.
I can’t speak to the factory reconditioned but my wife and I bought this model new a year ago and love it
Ever since I’ve been using Keurig for over 5 years now it’s hard to get a unit like this or those Nescafe Nespresso devices without being able to use reusable pods. I like how I can buy the coffee of my choice and choose the amount of coffee to put into the pods
