Several of us Wooters haven’t been getting pushes as of late.
Uninstalls and reinstalls haven’t helped, and until recently nothing has helped.
I discovered that if i turn the wifi off on my phone the pushes come through normally but with wifi they’re somehow blocked. Amazon pushes come through normally.
Any ideas?

Me too. What’s up with that? I checked all of my settings & everything is ticked. I even uninstalled & reinstalled the app thinking I did something wrong

So no push yesterday. Two pushes today. And someone complaining about too much garlic.

I just checked the notifications in my settings & it says the last one i received from Woot was 6 days ago??? Thats hard to believe. Im in boc jail & ive been busy so i guess i haven’t noticed.
I wonder if the devs have been working on the app? @ThunderThighs any news on that?

I have an Android and haven’t received any pushes for a few days now. Leading up to that they were intermittent but now none.
I did notice that the Woot icon changed from the birthday icon to the exclamation point and from that point it went haywire.

Yeah, you are right about the icon. I saw that after I uninstalled & reinstalled the app & it looked funny to me.
Now they have a place to investigate from. Thanks for adding to the conversation

This might get lost in here, but if you’re on Android, it’s better to clear the app’s storage than to uninstall and reinstall. You might actually bring the settings from the old instance of the app to the new one and not fix anything if they are messed up somehow. Feel free to DM me or start a less noisy thread if you want, especially if you are still having problems getting those pushes
Update: I did actually find a problem that blocked the Appsclusive push so that one got a little delayed today, but it should have gone out a few minutes ago.

Hello, i actually did that first & me being so impatient i went ahead & did the uninstall & reinstall immediately after that. Havent gotten a notification since.
I just checked my app notifications in settings a minute before i typed this & im still at 6 days from the last woot notification. Didn’t get the one from an hour ago either

I have an Android LG and I have the new Woot logo. I also get the pushes.

I take it by all these new posts there was a push a few hours ago??? Can anybody confirm that please.
I never got it & since there are at least 2 other people besides me not getting them it’s not a “me” issue, but a “Woot” issue. Very sad

I am on android and haven’t been getting any pushes at all on my phone.
I did change the settings on my tablet and received today’s pointless push but still nothing on my phone.

Yeah me too. Double checked all settings again. Everything is enabled. Was chatting with a staff member yesterday & I thought my notification was on silent & I switched it back to default, but still nothing.
Even if I had the sound on silent I should have still gotten the notification, but just silently like mute.
Something happened on woots end because we wouldn’t have starting messing with our phones when it started.
Anyways we can still get BOCs through woot offs or threads. Just disappointed about the pushes. I used to reply with a gif at least a few times a week. Oh well. If you figure something out let us know.
